Existing AWG Technology (Proven Systems Already in Use)
Real Working AWG Installations in India

Atmospheric Water Generators (AWGs): A Proven Technology Already Working Worldwide
Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) technology is not experimental or theoretical. It is a real, reliable, and widely deployed solution already working in thousands of installations across India, East Africa, the Middle East, the United States, and many other countries.
Many people still do not know that clean drinking water can be produced directly from the air. Our mission is to bring this proven technology to communities that need it most.
Example Technology We Are Evaluating: Meghdoot (India)
A leading Indian Atmospheric Water Generator system proven in schools, hospitals, and communities.
As we prepare our first installations in India, we are evaluating several water-from-air technologies that are already working successfully in real-world conditions.
One of the most established systems is Meghdoot, developed by Maithri Aquatech (Hyderabad, India).
Meghdoot Atmospheric Water Generators (AWGs) require:
- no groundwater
- no piped water
- no external water source
They generate clean drinking water directly from humidity in the air.
These units are already used across India in:
- Schools & colleges
- Public drinking-water kiosks
- Municipal buildings
- Hospitals & clinics
- Railway stations
- Rural communities
We believe that technologies like Meghdoot can play a major role in solving drinking-water shortages in the areas we serve.
How This Technology Works
How Atmospheric Water Generators Create Water From Air
The process typically involves:
- Air Filtration – removing dust and pollutants
- Cooling & Condensation – cooling the air to the dew point
- Water Collection – turning vapor into liquid water
- Purification – UV-C, carbon, and multi-stage filtration
- Mineralization – adding essential minerals
- Storage – sealed, food-grade safe water tank
This process provides clean drinking water in places where groundwater is unsafe, depleted, or unavailable.
Why We Are Considering Meghdoot
Why Meghdoot Is One of the Systems We Are Evaluating
✔ Designed and manufactured in India for local climate
✔ Installed in many Indian schools, hospitals, and communities
✔ Available in multiple capacities: 30–5,000 litres/day
✔ Supports decentralized community water access
✔ Requires no water source — only electricity or solar
✔ Successfully field-tested in urban and remote locations
We are evaluating Meghdoot and similar AWG systems to identify the best technology for our first installations.
Real Working Installations in India (Not Our Projects Yet)
Atmospheric water generation is already benefiting communities in India today.
Below are examples of installations by Meghdoot (Maithri Aquatech) and other AWG providers.
These are not our projects, but they show the type of outcomes we aim to bring to underserved communities.
Examples include:
- Hyderabad Municipal Schools – on-site daily drinking water
- Railway Station Water Kiosks (Delhi & Hyderabad) – public AWG dispensers
- Visakhapatnam Smart City – decentralized safe drinking water
- Hospitals & health centers – water without tankers
- Rural villages in Andhra Pradesh & Karnataka – independent water access
- Commercial & industrial campuses – decentralized workplace water systems
These installations demonstrate that AWG technology is proven, reliable, and already serving large populations.
Our Future Installations
Our Upcoming Projects in India
We are selecting the first communities where we will install AWG units.
We are evaluating several technologies, including Meghdoot, to find the best match for:
- Rural schools
- Health clinics
- Women’s centers
- Disaster-affected regions
- Villages with depleted groundwater
Once our first device is installed, we will publish:
- Photos
- Daily water output
- Installation updates
- Community impact results
directly on this website.
Why Water From Air Matters
In many regions of India and East Africa, groundwater is contaminated or nearly exhausted.
Atmospheric Water Generators provide:
- A clean
- Local
- Sustainable
- Reliable
source of drinking water created directly where it is needed — without dependence on rivers, wells, or tankers.
